Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our growing electrical service business. The CSR will be the first point of contact for customers — answering calls, scheduling jobs, and ensuring every client receives a smooth, professional experience from start to finish.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people.

Work Schedule

• 12-18 hours per week: Monday-Friday (Hybrid Role- Remote & On-site)
• Flexible schedule. Working Hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Exact work hours will be determined once hired to best fit both the employee’s availability and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages from customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule appointments, create jobs, and dispatch work orders using our field management software.
• Communicate with technicians regarding scheduling, updates, and customer needs.
• Follow up with customers after service visits to ensure satisfaction and request feedback or reviews.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, updating customer records, and organizing documentation.
• Respond promptly to leads and inquiries from the website, social media, and voicemail.
• Provide accurate information to customers about services, scheduling, and company policies.
• Represent Powerhouse Electrical Solutions with a positive and professional attitude in all communications.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance service skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or dispatching preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities independently.
• Proficient with email, Google Workspace, and CRM/scheduling software.
• Experience with field service management tools is a plus.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace if working remotely.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $18.95 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Hours: 12-18 hrs per week
• Flexible schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
