Customer Service Representative – Warehouse

Location : Augusta, GA

Facility : Distribution and Logistics Warehouse

Are you a detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems for customers? RBW Logistics is looking for a purpose-driven Customer Service Representative to support our logistics operations and help us fulfill our mission: To create opportunities for others to shine and grow.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the vital link between our warehouse operations and our customers. You’ll manage freight brokerage, drayage, and scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments, while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing . You’ll also play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving issues, and supporting continuous improvement across our service processes.

Your Impact

Customer Service & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse teams and customers, ensuring clear and timely communication.

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.

• Write and deliver accurate business correspondence and apply professional telephone communication skills.

• Escalate complex issues to management when necessary, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction .

Order & Shipment Coordination

• Accurately process inbound and outbound paperwork, ensuring data integrity and timely system updates.

• Schedule and coordinate freight, drayage, and load appointments to meet customer timelines.

• Ensure all special requests are documented and executed according to customer expectations

Billing & Documentation

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices for receiving, outbound processing, and value-added services.

• Complete month-end billing and ensure all customer accounts are invoiced by the 2nd business day of each month.

• Maintain clean, auditable records and documentation for all transactions.

Inventory & Process Support

• Assist with physical inventories and second counts to support 99% inventory accuracy.

• Identify process ineffi ciencies and support improvements to enhance service and cost-effectiveness.

• Promote and uphold company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with WMS systems is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and stay focused under pressure.

• Customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Previous experience in logistics , warehousing, or customer service preferred.
