Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Rep. is responsible for assisting customers and processing their inquiries in the ERP system, as well as efficient communication among all customer service, machine service techs and customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Processing customer’s sales quotes and orders in the ERP system.

Following up with customers to ensure they receive the proper support from Poly-clip System (PCS).

Assisting customers in resolving any product related issues.

Assisting customer as well as PCS in filing claims with logistics companies when necessary.

Communicating any product related issues to other departments accordingly.

Communicating any products shortages to the purchasing manager timely.

Assisting customers in processing returns in the ERP system when required.

Reviewing back order, customer demand reports and communicating any issues to purchasing/shipping departments.

Informing sales personnel of any major issues related to their customers.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Strong over the phone communication skills.

2. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.

3. Familiarity with logistics software such as UPS & FedEx.

4. Knowledge of ERP systems.

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

6. Strong analytical skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

· A minimum of five years of work in such an environment. Two years of college ideal.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
