Customer Service Representative

A Customer Service Representative (CSR) helps customers by answering questions, resolving problems, and providing information about an organisation

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, chat, or in person.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, prices, and company policies.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Process orders, returns, refunds, exchanges, or account updates.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors or other departments when necessary.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their concerns have been resolved.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful, and professional attitude.
• Meet customer service standards and performance targets.

Common Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some employers may prefer additional education.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Patience and professionalism when handling difficult customers.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
• Previous customer service experience may be preferred but is not always required.

Pay: From ₦180,000.00 per month
