Customer Service Representative

About the role

Join the Caltex Otara team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a full-time and part-time role based in East Tamaki, Auckland. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth running of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable and efficient customer service at the front counter and through various communication channels
• Handling cash and electronic transactions with accuracy and integrity
• Restocking and merchandising store shelves to maintain a neat and inviting retail environment
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Contributing to a positive team culture and collaborating with colleagues
• Refilling LPG bottles

What we're looking for

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience
• Customer service experience in service station field essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and numeracy skills for accurate cash handling
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including morning, afternoon and weekends
• A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is highly desirable
