Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Clerk to join our team at a busy liquor store. As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly and that our customers have a pleasant shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging products.
• Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and engage customers.
• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and manage cash accurately.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Exhibit proper phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are preferred to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic math principles is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
