Customer Service Representative

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the Retail Sales Associate position is to build strong relationships with our customers, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall sales and operational goals of Woody’s Shirts & Scrubs.

Retail Sales Experience
Previous apparel or retail sales experience is preferred. The candidate should understand the importance of listening to customers, identifying their needs, recommending appropriate products, and helping them make confident purchasing decisions.

Willingness to Learn
Our products, brands, uniform programs, embroidery services, and customer needs are constantly evolving. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and continually improve their product knowledge and customer service skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Build Strong Customer Relationships

Provide a high level of personalized customer service throughout the Woody’s Shirts & Scrubs sales process.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Asking questions to understand each customer's needs.
• Helping customers select appropriate styles, sizes, colors, and products.
• Educating customers about product features, fit, brands, and available services.
• Assisting customers with uniform and apparel purchases.
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations rather than simply directing customers to merchandise.
• Thanking customers and helping create an experience that encourages them to return.

Support Sales Goals

Actively contribute to the store's sales goals by providing excellent service, developing product knowledge, recommending appropriate products, and recognizing opportunities to better serve each customer.

Be a Team Player

Work as part of a team serving retail, business, group-order, and e-commerce customers.

Clear communication, cooperation, continued learning, and a willingness to assist coworkers are essential parts of this position.

Assist With Merchandising

Assist management with strategically merchandising inventory throughout the showroom.

This includes creating and maintaining visually appealing displays, organizing merchandise, restocking products, and presenting merchandise in a way that makes shopping easy for customers while maximizing sales opportunities.

Maintain an Inviting Showroom

Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming retail environment.

Responsibilities may include straightening merchandise, returning products to their proper locations, organizing displays, maintaining fitting rooms, restocking merchandise, and completing routine cleaning and organizational tasks.

Assist With Special Events & Group Programs

Assist management and ownership with special events, fittings, group orders, uniform programs, and other off-site or in-store events as needed.

Support the Overall Vision of Woody’s Shirts & Scrubs

As part of a small-business team, responsibilities may occasionally extend beyond normal retail duties. The Retail Sales Associate should be willing to assist with other reasonable tasks as assigned and contribute to the overall success and growth of Woody’s Shirts & Scrubs.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
