Customer Service Representative

Role Summary

The U-Haul Authorized Dealer Customer Service Representative at Pete’s Stop is responsible for managing truck and trailer rentals from start to finish—reservations, check-outs, returns, and customer support—while delivering fast, reliable, and friendly service. This role is the face of Pete’s Stop for moving customers, often during stressful situations, so professionalism and efficiency are critical.

Core Responsibilities

Process U-Haul reservation using the POS system (in-person) and online reservations.

Verify driver's licenses, contracts, and payment details accurately.

Perform vehicle inspections. before and after rentals and documents condition.

Dispatch trucks and trailers quickly to keep wait times low.

Handle returns, fuel checks, mileage tracking, and final billing.

Resolve issues like late returns, damage concerns, or equipment questions.

Restocking and organizing inventory.

Maintain a clean, organized rental area, lot, restroom & store.

Pay: $18.45 - $19.00 per hour

• Retail sales: 2 years (Preferred)
