We are excited to announce that The Fish Factory Australia is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative! Working directly with the sales team and looking after a small customer base, this opportunity is best suited to someone who is customer focussed and passionate about the hospitality industry! Being a valuable part of our customer service team, the role focuses on taking customer orders and becoming the first point of contact for our chefs. The successful candidate will prioritise a smooth customer life cycle and communicate closely with the wider sales team.

Your role

This is a full-time position, operating on a five-day roster including one Saturday shift per week. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with an attention to detail and experience with administrative duties. Possessing high-level computer literacy, you will be able to learn our internal software and processes. Taking responsibility for order processing, dispatching and troubleshooting, the role will put you at the heart of our wholesale operation on a daily basis. This role is perfect for someone looking to step into a sales-based role! The main responsibilities of the position are:

·       Data entry – accurately input customer and sales data into databases or other systems.

·       Customer service and engagement – “own the phone” and provide exceptional customer service to our wholesale customers.

·       Order processing – record, process and collate customer requests and orders.

·       Filing and report keeping – maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including contact information and relevant purchase history.

·       Assisting sales team – provide assistance to general sales related issues and enquiries

·       Communication – maintain strong communication between sales team, management and internal software database.

Work environment

Work is primarily conducted in an office within a warehouse environment Saturday shifts are associated with this role.

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

Essential

1.          Previous experience in a customer service role

2.          Sound competency with data entry and administrative tasks

3.          Great communication and interpersonal skills

4.          Must be attentive to customer/client needs

5.          High level of attention to detail

6.          Strong computer literacy and the ability to work with self-initiative

7.          Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines

8.          Good standard level knowledge of sales and customer services routines

9.          Work well with others and be a team player

10.        Strong work ethic

Desirable

1.          Previous sales or admin experience or qualification

2.          Experience within the foodservice and/or restaurant industry
