Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative provides online and phone support to ensure the satisfaction and retention of customers at Maytag Dairy Farms.  This role will help coordinate daily sales flow, handle customer requests, track inventory, and support the sales operations team to drive growth through multiple market channels.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate safely and appropriately in all AgCertain situations and environments

• Ability to demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Play a pivotal role in enhancing company-wide customer service through phone, online, and in-person interactions and troubleshooting retail orders

• Coordinate order processing and customer interactions with Maytag Dairy Farms

• Maintain a positive attitude and communication within a team atmosphere

• Complete all necessary paperwork and recordkeeping of customer complaints to maintain traceability

• Be proficient in using Business Central for inventory tracking and sales operations

• Work in Shopify e-commerce platform for direct-to-consumer orders

• Handle customer service requests with positive and clear communication

• Participate in all company trainings

• Perform all other duties as assigned

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent level certification with proven reading, writing, clearly legible handwriting, computer, inter-personal communication and mathematics skills; Associate’s Degree preferred

• Previous customer experience is a plus

• Must be computer literate

• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate internally and externally with customers and vendors

• Act with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safety

• Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of the facility
