What they need
At Community Insurance Partners, our mission is clear: to safeguard the well-being and assets of individuals and businesses within our communities. We do this by delivering tailored insurance solutions, building trust through exceptional, client-centered experiences, and actively contributing to the strength and prosperity of the neighborhoods we serve.
Everything we do is grounded in our core values:
- People – We put relationships first: with our clients, our teammates, and our communities.
- Passion – We bring energy, care, and pride to our work every single day.
- Purpose – We know our work matters, and we take seriously the responsibility of protecting what matters most to others.
As a Customer Service Representative, you are often the first human connection our clients have with Community Insurance Partners—and that matters. You play a vital role in delivering an extraordinary service experience that makes clients feel supported, heard, and confident in their coverage.
Your purpose in this role is simple but powerful: serve our clients so well that they can’t help but tell others about us. You’ll do this by combining exceptional communication skills, genuine care for people, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
You’ll act as the first line of support for client service needs, resolving issues efficiently and escalating only those items that require a licensed agent. At the same time, you’ll work closely with Agents to remove administrative burdens, support daily operations, and help the entire team operate at a higher level—all while embodying our commitment to excellence.
How You’ll Live Our Values through Client Interaction & Communication (People First)
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering and screening incoming calls with professionalism, warmth, and care.
- Proactively communicate with clients via phone and email to set clear expectations and deliver timely updates.
- Educate clients on our referral program and invite them to share their experience through Google reviews, helping us grow through trust and relationships.
Documentation & Data Management (Purposeful Precision)
- Complete daily downloads and accurately enter information into agency systems and raters.
- Manage the general email inbox by documenting, resolving, and routing items to the appropriate team members.
- Update client contact information during every interaction to ensure accuracy and continuity of care.
Administrative Support (Passion for Excellence)
- Handle daily printing, scanning, and faxing needs for the commercial lines team.
- Assist with audit processing and proactively alert Agent.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and route them to the appropriate Agent.
Client Services (Protecting What Matters)
- Handle Auto ID cards, mortgagee clause updates, and additional insured requests with accuracy and care.
- Support Agents with claims and provide warm transfers when appropriate.
Billing & Payments (Trust Through Clarity)
- Address basic billing questions and escalate complex matters when needed.
- Encourage EFT and Pay-in-Full options to simplify payments and reduce risk for clients.
- Proactively call on late payment notices three days prior to cancellation to help protect clients from coverage lapses.
Collaboration & Team Support (Better Together)
- Process order changes on carrier websites as requested by Agents.
- Follow up with underwriters on renewal and new business quotes.
- Partner closely with Agents to take ownership of tasks within your role and keep workflows moving smoothly.
What Success Looks Like
- Stronger Client Relationships: Increased satisfaction, referrals, and positive reviews driven by proactive communication and genuine care.
- Operational Excellence: Accurate, timely data entry and system management that supports seamless agency operations.
- Team Impact: Reliable administrative support that allows Agents to focus on higher-level client strategy.
- Financial Stability for Clients: Fewer late payments and faster service resolution through clear billing support and proactive outreach.
At Community Insurance Partners, you’re more than a job title—you’re part of a mission that truly matters. You’ll work alongside a supportive team that values people first, encourages passion in your work, and stays grounded in purpose every day. We celebrate collaboration, personal growth, and doing the right thing for our clients and communities. If you’re energized by helping others, take pride in meaningful work, and want to grow in an environment where your contributions are noticed and appreciated, you’ll feel right at home here.
