Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Associate to serve as a primary point of contact for Client key retail customers, including The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards .

This role works closely with customers and internal Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Transportation teams to provide excellent customer service, resolve issues, manage orders, and support efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary customer contact for strategic retail customers.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and understand their business requirements.
• Enter and manage customer orders accurately using internal systems.
• Monitor order fulfillment, inventory availability, and delivery performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Use customer portals and internal systems to support order management and communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Follow standardized processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company safety standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous Customer Service / Customer Operations experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment .
• SAP/CRM experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience working with business systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Supply Chain knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the building materials industry is preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
