Customer Service Representative

We're looking for a customer service professional with insurance, banking, or office experience who takes pride in getting the details right.

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll keep our clients' policies accurate and up to date and play a key role in our renewal process. You'll handle certificates, cancellations, policy changes, and mortgage updates, and you'll work alongside our Account Manager to review upcoming renewals and make sure clients are informed before their policies renew.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and stays organized in a busy office. Insurance experience is a big plus, but if you have a strong service background and want to learn, we'll provide training and paid licensing to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Issue certificates of insurance for clients.
• Process policy cancellations accurately and on time.
• Complete policy changes, including vehicle, driver, and coverage updates.
• Process mortgage and lienholder updates.
• Assist our Account Manager with renewal reviews
• Send renewal notices and follow-up communications to clients.
• Provide backup support for incoming calls and walk-in clients.
• Enter and update information accurately in our agency systems.
• Support our agents and team in maintaining a professional, welcoming office.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Friendly, clear communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a team environment.
• Solid computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Prior CSR, office, banking, or insurance experience preferred; insurance experience a strong plus.
• Property & Casualty license preferred. Unlicensed candidates welcome; we'll help the right person get licensed.
