About the role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our North American customers by being a trusted advisor, building a rapport and instilling product confidence while completing order intake and fulfilment checks. In addition to this, you will help manage sample shipments, order tracking, complaint resolution and the distribution of specification sheets and other administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders that allow the position to be the voice of customers and Sales
• Processing purchase orders to operations in preparation for shipping
• Manage overall customer satisfaction, responding to queries and ensuring that customer needs and problems are escalated accordingly
• Have a deep understanding of customer needs with ability to respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner
• Attend sales seminars, meetings or educational activities to stay updated on the latest developments, trends and regulations as required

About you

Essential

• Previous sales or customer service experience is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks
• Customer service focussed with excellent relationship building skills
• Strong analytical thinking capabilities and creative problem-solving skills
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or logistics industry
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)

Desirable

• Experience with ERP Systems such as Oracle, SAP would be advantageous
• Previous experience using JD Edwards would be advantageous
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus

Location Requirements

Join us onsite at our San Antonio office for your first three months as you settle into the role and get to know the team. Once fully onboarded, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement. We're looking for candidates who are based locally and within a reasonable commuting distance.
