Customer Service Representative

Title: Customer Service Representative – Plumbing Wholesale (PW)

Reports To: VP Sales

Line of Business: Customer Service

Status: Full-time Hours: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Bettendorf Office

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing quality customer service to accounts in the Plumbing Wholesale Division.

The Customer Service Representative will work directly with a variety of accounts to provide information quickly, accurately, and professionally utilizing both phone and email communication.

The information provided will be related to products, services, pricing, lead times, and any information required to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

The Vice President of Sales, and the CSR will be in contact with the same accounts on a regular basis, and the CSR will be the primary contact point for customer service needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Answer customer inquiries related to product availability and order related information
• Answer incoming calls and emails
• Act as primary customer service contact
• Send customers documents upon request
• Manage submitted claims in SAP for pricing, overage, shortage, defective errors
• Complete RGA form and claim sheet
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Required Education : High School Education or GED
• Preferred Education: College Degree or specialized training in sales
• Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of proven sales experience
• Preferred Work Experience: Five (5) years of proven sales experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrate the ability to effectively handle difficult customers and situations.
• Must possess strong and professional communication (verbal and written).
• Must have the ability to adjust high volume work periods and deadlines.
• Must possess strong time management skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
