Customer Service Representative

Nelson Analytical is an environmental testing laboratory that provides analysis of water and soil.

Nelson Analytical is currently hiring at our Keene, NH laboratory.

Customer Service Representative, 6 hours/day, five days/week, 30 hrs/wk, $30,000/annual.

Position Overview

Seeking a part time laboratory team member to provide customer service and assist with administrative duties. Duties will include greeting customers, answering telephone inquiries, handling the continuous in flow of samples to the laboratory, preparing sample kits, computer log in, shipping, and other duties as necessary.

Duties:

• Provide customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person.

• Login samples as they are received by the laboratory.

• Maintain customer records.

• Data entry and report generation.

• Preparation of sample kits and supply management.

• Shipping and receiving.

Physical Demands:

• This position involves 30 plus hours per week on your feet for most of the day while in constant face to face contact with customers, and continuously documenting receipt of incoming samples.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Proficient in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism
• Ability to work on your feet most of the day in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
