Customer Service Representative

About the role

Farmer's Bakehouse is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to be the voice of our brand and provide exceptional service to our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring every interaction reflects the quality and values that Farmer's Bakehouse is known for. You will be based on-site in Dubbo, NSW 2830, working as part of our customer service team to maintain our reputation for outstanding customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Providing prompt, professional, and customer-focused support to effectively resolve enquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Resolving customer complaints and issues efficiently, working towards satisfactory outcomes whilst maintaining customer satisfaction

• Providing product information and recommendations to customers to support their purchasing decisions

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the workplace.

• Completing dishwashing and cleaning duties efficiently to ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment.

• Assisting with general kitchen hand duties as required, including food preparation, restocking supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.

• Working effectively as part of a team to support smooth daily operations including working with our production team when required.

• Following workplace health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times.

• Demonstrating a positive, reliable, and flexible attitude while assisting with various tasks as required.

• Following company policies and procedures, including quality standards and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a customer service or call centre environment

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure

• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality customer service and building positive relationships

• Attention to detail and accuracy when managing customer information and transactions

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and situations

• Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member

• Ideally, experience in the bakery, food, or retail industry would be advantageous

• This is a two-year contract position, with strong potential for the role to become permanent upon successful completion of the contract period.
