Position;

We are seeking to fill our customer service position and looking for a candidate who is positive, patient, and professional.

Candidates should be comfortable interacting with potential customers and existing customers, solution- oriented, and have the ability to work with a wide variety of individuals, technology, and have a willingness to learn all facets of a company in order to positively contribute to the overall operation.

This is an entry-level customer service position, no direct experience is required; however, having a customer-focused attitude, familiarity with marketing and sales basics, and a self-starter will formulate the foundation of a great candidate.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Daily responsibilities

• Interacting with customers and helping provide them with an assessment of their needs and appraising the value items.

• Assist customers in finding and purchasing merchandise.

• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools to assess items customers bring in for sale or pawn.

• Testing gold and diamonds with the methods taught during training

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve issues swiftly while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.

• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

• Light cleaning duties around the work space.

• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.

Experience

• Prior jewelry sales or sales in general experience is highly preferred. Having the knowledge to test gold is a major plus.

• Prior clerical or administrative experience in an office setting is highly preferred.

• Proven customer service background with excellent communication skills across diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with office management tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and spreadsheets.

• Strong computer literacy with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.

• Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse client base.

• Demonstrated organizational skills combined with time management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
