Customer Service Representative

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized &customer-focused Front Office Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service, assisting with rental inquiries, and ensuring our facility operates smoothly. Duties

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone.
• Assist customers with storage unit rentals including explaining terms, conditions and payment options.
• Answer questions, resolve issues and provide information about our services.
• Conduct facility tours and showcase available units.
• Process payments, manage accounts and handle billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and facility documentation.
• Open and close the office ensuring security procedures are followed.
• Manage inventory of packing supplies and process sales.
• Perform light cleaning and ensure the office and common areas are tidy and welcoming.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate storage solutions.
• Follow up with potential customers and secure new rentals.

Requirements

• Open availability on Saturdays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, retail or a front office role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with light physical duties such as walking the facility and lifting small items.

Bonus Points if you have:

• Experience with storage.
• Experience with U-Haul.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
