We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, organised and commercially astute Customer Service Representative to play a pivotal role in the running of our customer care processes to maximise opportunities and ensure that the expectations of new and existing customers are not only managed but continually exceeded. If you thrive on delivering the best outcomes for customers and excel at communications and teamwork to get the job done, then this could be the opportunity for you!
About Us:
As part of the SLS Group and a leader of onsite engineering support for laboratory equipment, Labserve work with scientists and laboratory professionals, helping them stay productive and aligned to regulatory accreditation standards.
Our multi-disciplinary service and product range, combined with highly trained and experienced service/calibration engineers, administration, and Management teams, Labserve can provide a one stop shop, from the supply of new laboratory equipment to installation, validation, calibration, ongoing maintenance and repairs.
About the job:
Your main responsibilities in this fast-paced role will be to proactively manage communications with new and prospective customers via phone and email in relation to quotes, orders, delivery and general enquiries**.** To do this you will develop relationships with customers and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

You will use your initiative to ensure that all customer quotes for service work (including SLA quotes/callouts) and repairs are accurate, documented and commercially viable. By ensuring open communication is maintained with all relevant stakeholders and developing strong service and product knowledge you will provide timely, valuable support.
This is not just an order taking role, it is so much more! Although you will be generating customer orders and invoices, delivery notes and assist with the management of the order book for service, sales and repairs, we are looking for someone who will proactively contact customers to secure purchase order numbers, who will ask the right questions and have the initiative to judge the best solution for both the customer and the business. You must be confident in managing your own workload and remain calm under pressure while maintaining a positive & persistent attitude.
