Cooling Equipment Ltd is a New Zealand owed and operated supplier of quality refrigeration solutions throughout New Zealand. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Christchurch team and play a key role in supporting our customers and internal operations.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working as part of a supportive team.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service while supporting sales, warehouse, and administration functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding customer service via phone, email, and over the counter
• Processing sales orders, quotations, and customer enquiries
• Assisting customers with product selection and availability
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products
• Managing customer returns, credits, and warranty enquiries
• Maintaining accurate records within our ERP system
• Supporting stock control and inventory administration
• Assisting with general branch administration and day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, or administration role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Good computer skills and confidence using business systems
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic

Desirable but Not Essential

• Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or trade-related industries
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
• Forklift licence
