CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (freight forwarding)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, coordinate shipments, provide timely updates, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the shipping process.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments, bookings, and delivery status
• Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide regular updates to customers
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customer-related documents
• Resolve customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions
• Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment processing
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and communications
• Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
• Knowledge of import/export, shipping processes, and freight forwarding is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
