About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that welcomes newcomers to the customer service industry, making it an ideal opportunity for those beginning their professional journey. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline of our organisation, delivering exceptional support and building strong relationships with our customers whilst contributing to the overall success of our client's business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone, email, or chat platforms in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing accurate information about products and services to address customer concerns and questions
• Processing customer requests, transactions, and complaints efficiently whilst maintaining detailed records of all interactions
• Resolving customer issues promptly and escalating complex matters to appropriate supervisors or departments when necessary
• Following established protocols and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service delivery
• Maintaining a positive and empathetic approach when dealing with challenging customer situations
• Contributing to team targets and performance metrics including call handling time, customer satisfaction ratings, and first-call resolution rates
• Participating in training programmes and continuous development initiatives to enhance product knowledge and service skills
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and support a culture of excellent customer service

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum
• Willingness to learn and grow in a customer service environment, with openness to training and development
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clear English language proficiency
• Strong listening and empathy skills with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively
• Patience and composure when handling difficult or frustrated customers
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively whilst prioritising customer interactions
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with customer service software and tools
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to professional attendance
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively to resolve customer issues
• Prior customer service experience is not required; we welcome newbies to the industry
