Customer Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and manage client communications efficiently.
• Assist veterinary staff with basic clinical tasks, including preparing exam rooms and handling laboratory samples.
• Support laboratory procedures by collecting samples, performing tests when trained, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment to uphold safety standards.
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication instructions, and preventive health measures.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and laboratory materials to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role or veterinary setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and a genuine love for animals.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
