Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that suit their needs, emphasizing lighting, renovation, and interior design solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features using technical proficiency with tools like SketchUp, CAD, and lighting design software.
• Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and personalized service.
• Engage in inside sales by upselling complementary products such as fixtures, remodeling materials, or maintenance items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or credit payments with integrity.
• Collaborate with clients on layout design and renovation projects, providing expert advice on construction and remodeling options.
• Maintain organized stock levels, merchandise displays, and ensure the store environment is inviting and well-stocked for retail sales.
• Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and explore additional sales opportunities through CRM system proficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or construction sales with a focus on high-end markets.
• Strong negotiation skills and deal closing abilities to maximize revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Technical proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, and lighting design tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Knowledge of remodeling, fixture sales, lighting sales, and interior design principles.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management accurately.
• Skilled in upselling techniques and product demos to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple client interactions efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer relationship building expertise using CRM systems to track interactions and follow-ups effectively.
