Youngman Richardson import and distribute a broad range of machinery and equipment that is utilised in the hire, construction and agricultural industries.  We are a privately owned, well reputed family business and conduct our business with strong ethics, great customer service and premium products.

We have  over 40 years in the business, a reputation second to none and have a great team for you to work with.  Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen to join the Customer Service/Sales team based at our North Shore Head Office.

This is a varied role that has responsibility for daily customer service and sales order processing.

The key focus of this busy role is to:

• Professionally receive and process on the same day incoming enquiries and orders from customers via walk ins, phone & email.
• Provide attentive and knowledgeable sales assistance to customers who call in personally to view products in showroom.
• To support the sales team and look after individual requirements to assist their day-to-day activities.
• Monitor website functionality and customer experience.
• Actively seek and continue to improve product knowledge of YR products through self-research and participating in formalised training.
• Ordering of spare parts from local & overseas suppliers to maintain efficient stock levels.
• Maintain professional standards of communication with our suppliers and ensure that the current successful relationships are maintained and fostered.
• Proactively monitor & communicate competitor online activity and market developments to the business.
• Respond immediately to any customer complaints or queries.

The successful candidate will ideally:

• Have experience in parts ordering direct from suppliers both locally and internationally.
• Possess strong customer service skills and the ability to multi task and handle a busy role where no two days are the same.
• Sound administration and computer skills and experience with online sales channels.
• Be a strong team player.
