Customer Service Specialist - Air Freight

We are looking for Customer Service Specialists to join our growing team under the Air Freight business units. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination with clients, shipping lines, and internal departments to support end-to-end shipment operations and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

For Air Freight:

• Handles client bookings for export, import, and brokerage transactions
• Schedules trucking and vessel requirements based on customer needs
• Coordinates and advises on flight schedules for customers and agents
• Prepares, encodes, and submits export/import documentation (Port, TDM, Yunas)
• Monitors import arrivals and updates clients accordingly
• Coordinates with dispatch on pick-up/delivery status and customer updates
• Processes export amendments and reviews overseas import documents; verifies charges and payments
• Liaises with internal offices and processors for proper shipment handling
• Reports shipment irregularities and damage issues; monitors complaints and incidents
• Provides shipment updates and responds to client inquiries
• Maintains shipment ownership accuracy based on QAA
• Consolidates quarterly customer feedback and supports assigned clients
• Assists with claims, sales inquiries, walk-in clients, and customer meetings
• Handles account concerns of YLPH customers
