Our Hirepool Vehicle Rentals team provide expert advice to business, commercial and recreational travellers on a wide variety of transport options. Catering to both local short-term customers and larger long-term contracts, we meet the transport needs of everyone from big names in infrastructure, construction, film/TV, and sporting events to independent contractors, and casual weekend hirers.

As a Customer Service/Groomer you need excellent customer service and communication skills and a confident phone manner to field queries, provide advice and put quotes and contracts together, as well as ensure our vehicles are well groomed, maintained, and ready for hire. Show great attention to detail and have excellent time management skills. At this branch you'll be part of a small, hardworking team so you need to be prepared to help out across all areas of branch operations. The branch is open from 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (and until 1.00pm on Saturdays).

What you'll do:

• Answer phones - provide sales advice and quotes
• Create contracts and complete transactions
• Coordinate and deliver/pick-up vehicles
• Office administration and customer account maintenance
• Keep the branch's vehicle and rental fleet groomed to the highest standards
• Ensure all the necessary compliance checks are carried out
• Help identify and escalate any repair and maintenance issues
• Manage maintenance and damages effectively as required

Job Details:

Ideally, we want to recruit suitable and available NZ workers. However, if we are unable to make such an appointment, we are an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ (INZ) and would therefore be able to consider candidates who require a work visa. In line with our obligations under the job check process, the following information is provided:

• 1 x Rental Salesperson (621912) in Queenstown (called a Customer Service/Groomer)

• The role is a permanent full-time position working 40hrs per week (min/max)

• Work will be allocated on a rostered basis

• Wages are $26ph - $28ph depending on the following:

  • Skills - Full Class 1 Driver Licence (or overseas equivalent) and basic-intermediate computer skills
  • Experience - previous customer-facing service experience required (ideally from the vehicle rental industry, but not essential) and previous grooming experience is preferred but not essential
