Customer Service/Laundry Attendant

Customer Service Laundry Attendants must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, wash/dry/fold customers clothes with care. Will perform cleaning of inside and outside of all machines, keeping floors, parking lot, garbage, bathroom, etc. clean. Dependability to show up and work for scheduled shifts. Must have good customer service skills & be a people person. Basic math skills, basic computer skills,required.

Position Overview:

Our Customer Service Laundry Attendant sorts, washes, drys, folds laundry as needed by their facility for laundry drop off service. They also help remove stains from items with appropriate procedures as needed. All staff are responsible for daily cleaning of equipment, floors, bathrooms and facilities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in proper attire in accordance with company policy.
• Loads articles into washer/dryer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent.
• Operate machines that automatically washes and rinses articles.
• Operate machines that automatically dries articles.
• Ensures cleanliness of equipment, inside and outside.
• May sort and count articles to verify quantities on laundry lists.
• Abides by the regulations of the material safety data sheet when using chemicals.
• Knows and complies with all company policies/values and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
• Takes the initiative to greet customers in a friendly and warm manner.
• Demonstrates superior customer service.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior Laundry attendant, cleaning background, or retail background involving direct customer service experience (Highly preferred, but not required)
• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with customers & team members.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete all shift responsibilities.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• May be required to work other local locations

Pay: $13.00 per hour
