Customer Services Executive / Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.

• Coordinate with customers regarding booking, shipment schedules, documentation, and delivery arrangements.

• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, agents, and internal operations teams.

• Follow up on shipment progress and ensure customers receive accurate updates.

• Prepare and check shipping and customer-related documents.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.

• Monitor shipment delays, changes, and exceptions and communicate them to customers.

• Coordinate with the Operations and Documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.

• Follow up on delivery status and proof of delivery when required.

• Maintain accurate customer and shipment records in the company system.

• Assist with quotations, billing queries, and other customer-related matters when required.

• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.

• Prepare customer reports and provide updates to management when required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Executive: 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Senior Executive: 4–7 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or transportation is preferred.

• Good understanding of import/export and shipping processes.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Able to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and email.

• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.

• Able to handle multiple shipments and work under pressure.

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Mandarin speaking abilities to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers IS A MUST
