The opportunity

The Customer Services team is the first point of contact for the community by phone, email, and in person. We're DCC's ambassadors, helping our residents access the right information and services they need at the right time*.*

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer service extraordinaire to join our team. As a Customer Services Officer you are part of a team who provides the interface between Council and the community by assisting with enquiries, providing information and processing payments.

About you

• Experience in administration, a customer service centre or in a customer-facing role
• Skilled at listening and questioning to get to the core of an issue to provide accurate information and support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and convey technical information in an understandable manner
• Ability to operate effectively in a digital environment with a wide range of technology systems and tools
• Committed to continuous personal learning and growth

Salary range: $57,515 - $67,665
