Customer Service/Sales Associate

We are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with selecting flowers and/or plants and answer questions about flower/plant care
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Taking/fulfilling customer walk in orders, phone call orders and online orders
• Create fresh wrapped floral bouquets
• Clean, cut and prep fresh flowers
• Watering plants
• Stocking inventory
• Handling cash and sales transactions
• Organizing deliveries
• Key holder
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns
• Keeping shop clean and presentable

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Experience working in a floral shop an asset
• Flower and plant knowledge an asset
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Job can be physically demanding. Must be able to lift and carry buckets of water/flowers, supplies etc.
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Quick thinker
• Reliable and trustworthy

Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm or 2pm - 6pm

Saturday 9am - 5pm

Sunday 10am - 4pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
