Customer Service/Sales Representative

Duties

• Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and via digital channels to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Conduct outside sales efforts by visiting potential clients, attending community events, and expanding our customer base through proactive outreach.
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
• Manage sales administration tasks including updating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, processing orders, and maintaining accurate client records.
• Build strong customer relationships through personalized communication, follow-up, and providing ongoing support for benefits administration such as health, life, property casualty insurance, and other financial products.
• Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement in service delivery.
• Stay informed about industry regulations related to insurance sales, including health insurance, life insurance, commercial insurance knowledge, and insurance regulation compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to effectively convey product benefits and address client concerns.
• Multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases more effectively.
• Familiarity with sales administration tools such as CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of insurance products including health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and benefits administration is preferred.
• Analysis skills to interpret customer data and market trends for strategic decision-making.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish or other languages) is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of insurance regulation standards to ensure compliant sales practices.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
• Ability to work independently in outside sales environments while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Pay: $66,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
