CS Azure Infra Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with expertise in Azure Stack HCI, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMWare. The successful candidate needs to have several years of experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Virtualization, Storage and Networking. Role type: Engineer to advise on architecture, consulting, and support to help customers drive solutions and resolutions Qualifications Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs and Cloud Adoption – Well Architected Framework. 8+ years’ experience with customer facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or customer base, and advanced troubleshooting.

Understanding of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy.

Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises,

Private and Public cloud environments.

Windows and Azure certifications - Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Characteristics of importance include but are not limited to customer service, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability to read/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders.

Azure Stack HCI/Local Software

Defined Networking Deployments and Configuration

Network ATC Storage Spaces

Direct Deployments and Configuration Storage

Provisioning Azure ARC for Servers

Azure Virtual Desktop

Virtual Machines

Azure Update Manager

Azure Monitor Windows Server (Windows Server 2012 R2-2025 = advanced level)

Virtualization (Azure Stack HCI/Local, Hyper-V, VMware)

System Center Virtual Machine Manager

Azure Migrate Azure Backup and Site Recovery Backup and migration tools (SCDPM, Veeam, Commvault, Carbonite, …)

General Azure IaaS platform (networking, storage, etc.)

Technical Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years in systems development, network operations, or cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven expertise in Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc, Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, Azure Backup, and Hyper-V .
• Deep understanding of Azure IAAS/PAAS , Azure Storage , SCVMM , and Windows Server Networking.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure services.
• Strong grasp of Azure Well-Architected Framework and operational best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Stack HCI Specialty
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent process certification (preferred)
