What they need

Customer Support Associate

We are looking for a Customer Support Associate who can build professional relationships, explain information clearly and make sure clients receive dependable support from their first request through to completion.

Based in St. Louis, you will divide your time between the office and scheduled visits to local client locations. You will work closely with Environmental Technicians, operations staff and account leadership, helping everyone stay informed and ensuring client requests move forward correctly.

Environmental industry experience is not required. You will receive full training covering our services, terminology, documentation and site procedures.

Role Details

  • Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on relevant experience
  • Bonus: Up to $750 per quarter
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
  • Break: 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: St. Louis office with local client visits
  • Reporting to: Client Services Manager

There are no regular evening or weekend shifts. Any occasional schedule changes will be communicated in advance.

The Support You Will Provide

Clients will rely on you to understand what is happening, who is attending their location and what needs to happen next. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting clients at their business locations and discussing current service requirements
  • Explaining scheduled environmental services and the steps involved
  • Confirming appointments, site access details and points of contact
  • Coordinating client requests with technicians and the operations team
  • Providing updates when schedules, requirements or completion dates change
  • Maintaining accurate client notes, service records and follow-up actions
  • Checking that completed documentation reaches the correct contact
  • Responding to questions by phone, email and face-to-face
  • Following unresolved issues until the client receives a clear outcome
  • Directing technical or regulatory questions to qualified team members
  • Collecting client feedback and identifying recurring service concerns

This is a client-support position rather than an Environmental Technician role. You will not be expected to arrive with technical knowledge or independently provide environmental advice.

What We Value

We are mainly interested in experience that shows you know how to work with customers professionally. Your background can come from any customer-facing environment.

You should be able to listen carefully, remain composed when a client has a concern and communicate the next step without making promises you cannot keep. Strong organization is important because you may be coordinating several client requests and site appointments at once.

Basic confidence using email, Microsoft Office and customer record systems is expected. Training on company-specific systems will be provided.

Training and Performance

Your initial training will include environmental service basics, client documentation, workplace safety and supervised site visits. You will then begin supporting assigned clients with regular coaching from the Client Services Manager.

The quarterly bonus is based on verified client feedback, response standards, accurate records and reliable follow-through. It is not linked to sales.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Paid company holidays
  • Paid environmental and site-safety training
  • Mileage reimbursement for approved client travel
  • Company-provided safety equipment for site visits
  • Quarterly performance reviews
  • Development toward senior client support or account coordination positions

If you communicate well, follow through on commitments and want to build a career within a growing environmental business, apply through Indeed for the Customer Support Associate position in St. Louis.
