The Opportunity
Some people are naturally good with people. They listen carefully, communicate clearly and help others feel at ease. We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative who can bring that approach to everyday customer interactions and make each conversation a positive experience.
Customers Come First
Good customer service starts with understanding what someone needs. In this entry-level role, you’ll speak directly with customers, answer their questions and explain relevant brands, products or services in a clear, friendly way. Whether someone needs information, reassurance or help exploring their options, your aim is to leave them feeling informed and supported.
What Good Customer Service Looks Like Here
- Listen carefully and ask relevant questions to understand customer needs.
- Explain information clearly and patiently.
- Help customers explore suitable solutions.
- Handle questions and concerns calmly and professionally.
- Maintain a positive attitude, even during busy periods.
- Ask colleagues for support when needed.
- Create a welcoming experience that leaves a positive impression.
The Qualities We Value
Previous customer service experience isn't essential. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and is willing to learn.
- Empathy and patience: Understanding different needs and perspectives.
- Communication: Explaining information clearly and listening actively.
- Problem-solving: Finding practical ways to help customers.
- Reliability: Being punctual, prepared and consistent.
- Professionalism: Treating customers and colleagues with respect.
- Emotional awareness: Staying calm and responding thoughtfully in challenging situations.
Experience in retail, hospitality, volunteering or other people-focused activities can be useful, but applications from people with different backgrounds are welcome.
We’ll Help You Build Confidence
You’ll receive initial training in the relevant products or services, company standards and customer communication, alongside guidance on handling common questions and responding to different needs. Ongoing one-to-one coaching and feedback will help you build confidence as you gain experience.
What Comes With the Role
- Competitive base pay.
- Performance-related rewards, where applicable.
- Initial training and ongoing coaching.
- Recognition for contributions and achievements.
- Team events and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
- Opportunities to develop customer service and communication skills.
