ABOUT THE ROLE

Warehouse Direct is looking for a Customer Service Representative I. This is a multi functional position responsible for delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers while supporting various operational areas of the business. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy in processing customer transactions, and the flexibility to assist multiple departments as needed. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, adaptable, and committed to building positive relationships across customers, colleagues, and vendors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Order Management

• Accurately process customer orders, returns, credits, refunds, quotes, exchanges, and contracts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Promptly and professionally handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints; provide appropriate solutions and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide timely and accurate information about products, services, and programs.
• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers, the sales team, and vendors through open and effective communication.
• Troubleshoot product and service issues and implement practical solutions.

Operational & Administrative Support

• Support cross functional teams by assisting with operational tasks and projects as needed.
• Complete administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized processes and procedures.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Adapt to changing priorities and take on new responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Team Collaboration & Training

• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management using active listening and clear, professional communication.
• Train new or existing Customer Service Representatives when requested.
• Demonstrate consistent professionalism and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Cooperatively perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
