Customer Support Specialis

Role Description The Health & Safety Manager (part-time, remote) is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices across assigned client operations. The role includes developing, implementing, and updating health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting remote inspections and audits, reviewing incident and accident reports, and leading or supporting accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions. The Health & Safety Manager will monitor compliance with Occupational Health and EHS standards, prepare clear documentation and reports, and provide guidance, training, and support to client teams on safety best practices. The role also includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve safety performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety principles, Occupational Health, and relevant regulations and standards.
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management, including risk assessment and control measures.
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and development of preventive action plans.
• Capability to conduct inspections, audits, and remote monitoring of safety practices and compliance.
• Relevant academic background in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to provide clear guidance, training, and feedback to diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage priorities, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with multicultural teams or in manpower/staffing environments is an advantage.
