Customs Broker

The Role:

The position requires a licensed Customs Broker and covers a wide range of services and legislative requirements for both Internal and External Customers in our Small Package Division.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lodgment of Import Declarations
• Detailed Classification determinations and Valuation Methodology
• Lodge Australian Agriculture entries
• Ensuring all import clearances and releases are processed according to Australian Legislation.
• Providing technical advice to both internal and external customers.
• Auditing cleared consignments for compliance.
• Assisting with projects to continually improve Border Clearance functions, enabling the Department to stay at the forefront of the industry

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A current Customs Brokers License with at least 2 years' experience
• DAFF accreditation
• Expedient Knowledge (Preferred)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate
• Possess Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
• Confident of working within a dynamic and successful team
