- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, permits, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government agencies.
- Ensure accurate classification of goods and applicable customs duties and taxes.
- Monitor shipments and assist in resolving customs clearance issues.
- Verify documents for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain organized records of customs transactions and supporting documents.
- Track shipment status and provide updates to clients or internal departments.
- Assist with customs audits and documentation requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in customs laws, procedures, and import/export regulations.
