Customs Manager (EPE - Manufacturing)

JOB SUMMARY

• Customs setup for the new factory
• Customs procedures related to import, export, scrap disposal,…
• Initiate IT projects and process improvement
• Resolve daily issues related to customs affairs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Develop and implement strategy and leadership in the application of relevant customs regulations to ensure compliant customs operations.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support daily customs clearance and timely resolve issue/ trouble related to shipments.
• Build and maintain strong relations with public officials for specific transactions and processes to ensure all activities are in line with regulations.s
• Provide advice, counsel, and training to key stakeholders regarding customs compliance and regulations
• Lead and develop customs team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign trade, Economics, customs college,s or relevant
• At least 10 years of experience in customs, trade compliance, logistics, and import/export in EP and manufacturing environments.
• CoO, HS code classification, FTA, investment, …
• Customs regulations, policies (commodity, specialized), customs settlement reports, PCA,…
• Familiarity with customs software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, ECUS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Fluent in English
