Customs Specialist

Responsibility:

1.Lead customs clearance progress management: coordinate the whole process of customs clearance in Hungary and the EU region, identify high-risk nodes, and promote the collaborative solution of customs brokers and internal logistics/procurement/finance.

2.Lead the regular quarterly meetings with the Hungarian Customs: represent the company to conduct professional communication with the Customs, prepare meeting materials, follow up the closed loop of topics, and maintain the relationship between customs and enterprises.

3.Research on EU import and export laws and regulations: independently track the changes of EU and Hungary import and export laws and regulations, and output interpretation reports, risk warnings and internal operation suggestions.

4.EU tax reduction and exemption policy research and application leadership: take the lead in assessing the applicability of tax reduction and exemption, design the application plan, coordinate internal and external resources, and promote the application landing and review.

5.Preferential qualification for customs clearance: lead the application and maintenance of AEO, certificate of origin related qualifications, tariff preferences and other qualifications, and establish a qualification account.

6.System and teaching: Precipitate customs clearance SOP, laws and regulations database, case database, guide the customs commissioner, and improve the professional ability of the team.

7.Cross-departmental coordination with external agencies: maintain efficient communication with customs brokers, customs, taxation, legal affairs, supply chain, etc., and handle complex disputes.

Position Requirements:

(1) Bachelor degree or above, major is not limited, international trade, logistics management, customs management, law is preferred;

(2) More than three years of experience in import and export customs clearance in European countries (experience in automotive industry is preferred);

(2) Be familiar with EU laws and regulations and be able to accurately interpret and output content;

(3) Familiar with the process of EU Certificate of Origin;

(4) Proficiency in Hungarian and English; or Hungarian and Chinese;
