YOUR ROLE

As a Customs & Transport Coordinator, you will support customs and transportation activities across multiple African countries, with a primary focus on Kenya and South Africa. Working closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure compliant and efficient import/export operations while supporting logistics performance and continuous process improvement initiatives in an international environment.

What You Can Expect In This Role

• Coordinate import/export and customs clearance activities with brokers, freight forwarders, and local teams.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and internal procedures.
• Support transportation and logistics operations across multiple countries and stakeholders.
• Analyze transport and logistics data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve processes.
• Contribute to the optimization of customs and transportation workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs, transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or project logistics.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance processes, customs documentation, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and stakeholders in an international environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills such as French or Arabic are considered an advantage.
