Cut-To-Length (CTL) Operator - 2nd shift

We are looking for a Cut to Length (CTL) Operator/Handler who will work with our team. The CTL Operator will ensure that product processed on the Cut to Length Line (CTL) has been performed in a safe, efficient and quality manner. This role is located at our Kansas City, MO, Warehouse and Distribution center

Hours of work: 11:00 AM- 9: 30 PM, Monday - Thursday

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of machines to perform diversified operations on varying material. Usually close tolerance work requiring a high degree of skill. Machine types include Cut-to-Length (CTL)
• Select speeds and feeds, determine operational sequences and tooling arrangements
• Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions
• Set up machines for operation by others
• Prepares orders by processing requests and work orders; pulling materials; packaging and staging orders for delivery
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards
• Completes work orders by entering required information
• A Team Player
• Complies with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment
• Train operator trainees
• Other duties as may be assigned

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Language Skills (To be determined during Interview process)
• Mathematical Skills (High School Equivalent)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers
• Knowledge of industrial power equipment and forklift operations
• Subject to Drug Screening and Background Checks
