Cutting Die Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting Die Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Cutting Die Technician is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality production of materials through the assembly, maintenance, repair, and management of cutting dies and related tooling. This role involves coordinating tasks, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards, and paying excellent attention to detail. The job entails but is not limited to the skills, requirements, and responsibilities listed below.

The Cutting Die Technician will report to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Communicates with supervisor to initiate stock job orders as needed
• Reviews department schedules to track due dates and upcoming projects
• Prioritizes and completes assigned tasks based on production deadlines
• Assembles and tests new tooling and repairs
• Monitors inventory levels of bolts and related components for die builds
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Supports overall team performance by completing additional tasks as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, machining processes, inspection tools preferred
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machining environment is recommended
• Familiarity with standard safety procedures and protocols
• Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, a stable work history, solid communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team player mentality

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
