Cutting Machine Helper

Purpose

The Cutting Machine Helper assists cutting operations with material preparation, handling, counting and housekeeping, to maintain a safe and efficient production flow. This role forms part of the initial operating team for Whitebrown Industries Limited, supporting the planned commencement of factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Handling

● Load and position materials for cutting operations.

● Stack and count cut pieces.

2. Machine & Measurement Support

● Assist with measurements and changeovers.

3. Waste & Housekeeping

● Separate scrap in line with Company procedures.

● Clean the work area to maintain a safe and organized environment.

4. Safety & Reporting

● Report defects and hazards promptly.

● Follow PPE and safe-handling procedures at all times.

Scope Information

● Direct Reports: Head of Plant Operations

● Indirect Reports: None

● Geographical Scope: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Knowledge

● SSCE or vocational training

● Basic safety and material-handling training is preferred

● Previous factory or production experience preferred; capable entry-level candidates may be trained

● Experience in manufacturing, plastics, packaging or recycling is preferred

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month
