Job Summary
The Cutting & Sort Operator position is an important part of our supply team. The primary work will be the operation of our Pathfinder vinyl cutting machines to create marine furniture covers: pontoon bench seats, recliners, captains chairs, or other boat seats. Work will include, but is not limited to, running the cutting machine as well as accurately and efficiently sorting, organizing and distributing cut vinyl pieces to the sewing department. This is not a piece-rate position.

Job Skills

• Experience with operating a Gerber or Pathfinder type machines is preferred
• Physically able to assist in moving and working with material that can weigh up to 70 lbs
• Ability to understand inventory and track item count
• Ability to work in a detail oriented environment
• Ability to follow standards and procedures
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Safely navigate a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to communicate well with others in a team environment and be able to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner

Experience: Gerber or Pathfinder Machine Operation: 1 year (Preferred)

Vinyl or Fabric Sorting: 1 year (Preferred)

Compensation

• 2 week training pay of $19/hr. Starting pay of $21/hr. Potential to earn up to $25.00/hr.
• Paid time off during scheduled shutdowns after 3 months of employment
