CVP- Corporate Development Leader

For our client, we are seeking a CVP- Corporate Development Leader to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to define acquisition priorities aligned with growth strategies
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable M&A roadmaps and target profiles
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition targets through proactive sourcing
• Lead comprehensive due diligence across all workstreams
• Negotiate and execute transactions in partnership with Legal
• Oversee financial modeling and present investment recommendations
• Develop pre-close integration strategies and monitor post-close value realization

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end, cross-border M&A transactions
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience operating in a highly acquisitive, matrixed organization
