A leading managed services provider is looking for a Presales Solutions Architect (Cyber Security) to shape, advise on and deliver secure-by-design solutions that protect customers’ critical assets. You’ll partner with Sales, Engineering and senior stakeholders to qualify opportunities, shape technical requirements and architect resilient, compliant solutions that fit business needs and industry regulations. You’ll engage with C-level executives, contribute to bids and tenders, and stay ahead of market trends.

This role suits a commercially aware, technically confident cyber professional who thrives in high-stakes, customer-facing environments and knows how to turn risk into robust architecture.

🎯 What you’ll be doing:

🔹 Design high-level, secure IT and cyber solutions tailored to customer needs, regulatory requirements and business objectives

🔹 Join sales meetings to qualify opportunities and shape technical proposals

🔹 Lead solution design, ensuring it’s robust, aligned and ready for delivery

🔹 Collaborate with internal teams to build and present multi-technology solutions

🔹 Support bids, proposals and handovers to delivery teams

🔹 Keep documentation, costs and project timelines accurate and up to date

🔹 Stay ahead of emerging threats, tools, frameworks and the evolving product portfolio

🔹 Ensure solutions comply with internal security policies and governance processes

🔹 Support thought leadership, internal training and marketing initiatives

🛠️ What you’ll need to have done:

🔹 Designed and delivered secure IT and cyber solutions within the UK Managed Services market

🔹 Converted complex pre-sales opportunities into closed deals, including cyber-focused engagements

🔹 Created high-level solution designs and compelling bid responses, securing wins across mid-market and enterprise clients

🔹 Collaborated across sales, technical and leadership teams to build scalable, cyber-aware solutions

🔹 Communicated confidently with both technical stakeholders and C-level executives

🔹 Identified customer cyber risks and requirements and translated them into tailored, value-driven solutions

🔹 Navigated public sector procurement or bid governance processes, including security requirements and frameworks

🔐 Cyber experience (not essential in every area, but as many as possible):

🔹 MDR, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR and NDR

🔹 Network security (NGFW / IDS / IPS / WAF / SASE / SSE / NAC)

🔹 PAM / MFA / SSO and DLP / Information Protection

🔹 Threat Intelligence and Incident Response

🔹 CNAPP, CASB, Vulnerability Management and DAST

🔹 Cyber Security Awareness Training

🔹 Microsoft and CrowdStrike powered solutions beneficial
