Cyber Security Adviser

e2 Cyber is seeking an experienced Security Advisor for an urgent contract opportunity with a major enterprise organisation.
This role will see you partnering with technology and business stakeholders to provide practical cyber security advice across projects, platforms, and cloud environments. You'll play a key role in influencing secure design decisions, conducting security reviews, identifying risks, and helping delivery teams achieve strong security outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide cyber security advice and guidance to technology and project teams.
• Conduct security architecture and design reviews.
• Perform threat modelling and security risk assessments.
• Assess solutions against security standards and controls.
• Support the remediation of security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security into technology delivery.
• Promote security best practices across enterprise and cloud environments.

About You

• 3+ years' experience in cyber security, information security, risk management, or assurance.
• Experience reviewing solution designs and architectures within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities, threats, and controls.
• Experience with threat modelling and security assessments.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and modern security practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance security, risk, and business outcomes.

Desirable

• CISSP, CISM, or similar security certifications.
• Experience working within large, complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
